She also told a story about her childhood incident which took place in her school bus. She said, “I remember that day when I was in my school bus and teenager boy started laughing at my body and called me a spotty dog, I got very upset at that time and my confidence shattered. I was very young and it made me feel that I am different from other and it looks like society won’t accept me for who I am. But with the passage of time I started learning about my body and I started to brush off negative comments about my self. I made my self confess that people will say these kinds of stuff but I will have to ignore them and I will have to stay strong in front of them, they will call me anything they want because they have never seen anyone with a body condition like mine. As a kid my mother used to tell me that my birthmarks are the kisses of Angels. I am very happy to be brought up in a small town, there used to be fewer people and most of them knew about my Birthmarks, so I felt quite normal, she said. I love my dad very much because he was the one who used to defend me if anyone says anything horrible to me. Ciera’s mother said, when she was born at Stanley Memorial Hospital in Albermarle, North Carolina, Her body was covered with birthmarks which shocked all the medical staff including me.
